Orange County has 34 cities and covers an area of 798 square miles, stretching from the Pacific Ocean to the Santa Ana Mountains. Orange County is nearby the center of the entertainment industry. Our region has superb Mediterranean climate (sunny 80% of the year and rainfall averaging only 12-14 inches). Orange County's terrain is diverse, with 42 miles of coastline offering beach cities, piers, oceanfront mansions, and harbors. The mountain areas and many regional parks have forests, lakes, miles of open roads, and historic buildings from the 1800's. Architecture and cityscapes run from rural small villages to modern urban settings.

Brea

La Palma

La Palma is a small (approximately 2 square miles) bedroom community located in the northwest corner of Orange County with an estimated population of 16,000. There is one major business complex, Centerpointe, located within the City limits consisting of a hotel, restaurants, retail shops and high rise office buildings. The majority of the housing has been built since 1965. La Palma has one hospital and three small strip shopping centers. It's Central Park hosts numerous activities throughout the year, the highlight of which is La Palma Days which is held every November.

We presented 70 features and 100 short films, and our all-volunteer selection committees worked day and night to review more than 600 titles.

San Juan Capistrano was founded in 1776 by Father Junipero Serra as the site of the historic Old Mission San Juan Capistrano, which is know as the "Jewel of the Missions." The City is situated in a picturesque coastal valley approximately 1.5 miles inland from the ocean and midway between Los Angeles and San Diego. From its 200-plus year old historic district, its many equestrian facilities, its preserved historic downtown, its Western heritage, its preserved agricultural and open space, to its newer residential communities and outstanding recreational facilities, San Juan Capistrano provides many unique filming locations.

Santa Ana

Santa Ana is located in central Orange County, 45 miles south of Los Angeles, with each accessibility to all of Orange County's major freeways. Today Santa Ana has become the County's most populous city, covering 27.2 square miles as well as being the home of the county seat for the County of Orange. Know for its ethnic diversity, Santa Ana also boasts a wide variety of "looks" for on-location production - high tech and historically preserved commercial; industrial/manufacturing; and established, mature residential neighborhoods, including classic Victorian mansions.

Westminster is 35 miles from LAX, 10 miles from John Wayne Airport and 12 miles from Long Beach International Airport.
